The following are restaurants and other food facilities temporarily closed by San Bernardino County Health Inspectors from October 15 to 21, 2021 due to imminent health hazards. If the reopening date is not mentioned, the agency has not listed the facility as a reopened publication.

Graziano's Pizza, 1080 E. Washington St. Suite G, Colton

California State University Einstein Brothers Bagel, 5500 University Parkway, San Bernardino

The following are selected inspections of facilities that are not closed but have other major problems.

The Crestline Cafe at 23941 Lake Dr. in Crestline was inspected on October 20 and received a score of 81/B, including one serious violation. Several of the condiments and cut tomatoes in the refrigerator were at unsafe temperatures, and the ground beef was left at room temperature for an hour. Approximately 20 pounds of food were discarded. In the other nine violations, inspectors found old rodent droppings in several areas, including clean plates (unused) and cans in storage areas, but said a thorough inspection found no active infestation. In addition, the dishwasher did not dispense disinfectant, the operator said they used disinfection tablets, and the inspector said this practice stopped immediately. Plan follow-up actions to ensure that there is no ongoing rodent activity.

Mojave Liquor & Market at 282 S. Old Woman Springs Road Suite A in Yucca Valley was inspected on October 19 and received a score of 80/B, including a serious violation. The refrigerator is not cooling, and the contents in it, including sandwiches, cheese and yogurt, are not at a safe temperature. In 11 other violations, the staff lacked soap in the restroom and another sink, and the staff did not know how to keep cold food or how to properly wash dishes.

Alfredo's Mexican Food, located at 1127 East 4th Street, Ontario, was inspected on October 15 and received a rating of 75/C with three serious violations. The temperature of some roasts and cheeses was unsafe, the rice was not heated properly, and an employee’s mobile phone touched a Chilean on the cooking line. In the other nine violations, multiple areas of the restaurant needed to be cleaned. This is the restaurant's second consecutive B or C level.

The list was published online on Friday. Any updates when the restaurant reopens will be included in the list next week.

All food facilities in the county undergo routine inspections to ensure they meet health regulations. The facility deducts four points for each serious violation, and one to three points for minor violations. Grade A (90 to 100 points) is considered "generally excellent", grade B (80 to 89) is regarded as "generally acceptable", and grade C (70 to 79) is regarded as "generally unacceptable", and follow-up is required Check. If a facility scores less than 70 or there is a serious violation that cannot be corrected immediately, the facility will be temporarily closed.
